The performance of Kristoffer Martin in the indie film Oros was cited at the 16th Long Island International Film Expo.

GMA Artist Center teen actor Kristoffer Martin received an Honorable Mention for the Best Supporting Actor category at the 16th Long Island International Film Expo (New York, USA) for his outstanding performance in the film Oros.

The festival includes 150 short and feature-length independent films from several countries in the world representing different genres.

The awarding ceremony will happen on July 19, 2013.

Kristoffer was overwhelmed for the recognition he received from the Long Island International Film Expo.

It even won as Best Feature Film in Washington. Sobra akong thankful,” he was quoted as saying in a release from GMA's corporate communications department.

The 2012 Cinemalaya entry Oros is about two brothers who conduct fake wakes in order to make money out of saklaan. Kristoffer plays the younger brother who runs errands for the fake wake, which was shot in slum areas.
