Lola wins Best Animated Short Film award at the 2011 Atlanta Horror Film Festival

Lola is a seven-minute animated short film directed by Joey Agbayani.

Muling nakatanggap ng parangal ang animated short film na Lola matapos nitong manalo ng Best Comedy Animated Short Film sa nagdaang Giggleshorts International Comedy Short Festival sa Toronto, Canada.

Ayon sa report ni Candice Montenegro ng GMA News, nagwagi ang Lola bilang Best Animated Short Film sa 2011 Atlanta Horror Film Festival sa Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Ginanap ito mula September 15-17, 2011.

Tinalo nito ang 23 iba pang short horror, sci-fi, at dark comedy films na lumahok din sa nabanggit na film festival.

Si Joey Agbayani ang direktor ng 7-minute animated short film na ito.

Ang Lola ay kuwento tungkol sa isang matandang babae na isang aswang na kinuhang artista ng isang ambisyosong direktor.

Ito'y upang gamitin ang supernatural powers ni lola, para makatipid sa gastusin ang kanilang produksyon.

Naging official entry noong 2010 ang Lola sa Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival. Naging parte na rin ito sa mga film festivals na ginanap sa Sydney, Australia at sa Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
