Masayang-masaya ang diretor na si Dennis Marasigan sa naging reaksyon ng mga taong nanood sa kanyang pelikulang Anatomiya ng Korupsiyon.

Isa kasi ito sa tatlong pelikula na na-i- screen ng gabing iyon sa opening ng 7^th Cinema One Originals Film Festival.

Ang dalawa pang pelikula ay ang Sa Kanto ng Ulap at Ulap at Di Ingon Nato.

Nakapanayam ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at ilang entertainment press si Direk Dennis sa opening ng 7^th Cinema One Originals Film festival na naganap noong Miyerkules, Nobyembre 9, sa Cinema 4 ng Shangri La Mall, Manadulyong City.

Ipinarating ng direktor ang kanyang pasasalamat sa magandang feedback na nakikita niya mula sa mga manonood ng gabing iyon.

"I'm very happy that everybody liked it, beginning from the cast for seeing it for the first time, the people who came to watch tonight, then their friends, relatives and even the public who came.

"I'm glad that they liked it, and they liked it in a way that they tell me that they're not just here to enjoy it, but they enjoyed it, and you know there's a certain amount of introspection that they'd like to do or to think.

"It's a film that they're going to bring home."

THE STORY. Limang araw lang ang taping days ng pelikula, kaya naman hindi rin inasahan ni Direk Dennis na magiging maganda ang kalalabasan nito.

Ang pelikula ay hango sa theater play na isinulat ni Malou Jacob. Ang kuwento'y konektado sa korupsiyong nagaganap sa ating pamahalaan.

Kuwento ni direk Dennis, ang ilang eksena sa pelikula ay hango sa kanyang personal na karanasan, lalo pa't nagtrabaho rin siya sa gobyerno noon.

"I was a government employee for many, many years so, I saw a lot of people who are very good, who are very decent, and who are very honest— and these headlines we see around us, and sometimes we have all these questions about the corruption—corruption being the cause of all the ills of our society, and it's a difficult thing to cure.

"I think, what the film is try to say is that, I don't think if the people get it, if they do, its an element that keeps coming up dahil, you know, you have to simplify your needs.

"Sabi, bakit hindi i-simplify 'yong kailangan, or in the words nga of Jun Lozada, 'why can't you moderate your greed?' you just limit from the things that you want, in relation to what you actually need, perhaps the things could get a little bit better for all of us."

THE STARS. Samantala, bilib naman si Direk Dennis sa aktres na si Maricar Reyes, ang isa sa mga lead stars ng pelikula.
