The landmark Peque Gallaga film Oro Plata Mata (1982) is now available in record bars courtesy of Star Home Video.

After the release of the award-winning Himala on original DVD, starring no less than the Superstar Nora Aunor, Star Home Video proudly presents the second installment in its special Obra Maestra Collection, the Peque Gallaga masterpiece Oro Plata Mata (1982).

Starring Cherie Gil, Joel Torre, Sandy Andolong, Mitch Valdez, and Liza Lorena, Oro Plata Mata traces the changing fortunes of two aristocratic families in Negros during World War II.

Oro Plata Mata swept the Gawad Urian Awards in 1983, including Best Direction, Best Cinematography, Best Music, Best Production Design, Best Sound, Best Editing, Best Screenplay, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Actress and Best Picture. It also won Best Production Design and Best Supporting Actress in the 1983 Film Academy Awards.

The original DVD of Oro Plata Mata is now available in record bars nationwide.
