This summer, moviegoers will be enlightened about the existence of beings that normally do not come into our midst.

The Diamond Star Maricel Soriano and ace director Chito Roño have collaborated for a grand horror movie that promises to take everyone to the edge of their seats.

"T2 is a serious horror drama tungkol sa engkwentro ng tao at mga engkanto," says Direk Chito. "Usually pag sinasabi nating engkanto sa mga pelikula kalimitan or almost every movie that I've seen is very fantasy.

"For the first time siguro, Star Cinema brings to the Filipino audience yung actual naming na-research based sa mga interviews, based sa mga nagkaroon ng claims ng engkwentro or experience. Ito yung exciting sa T2 kasi first time ipapakita kung paano ba sila sa totoong buhay, hindi sa fantasy world."

As a native of Samar, Direk Chito grew up listening to stories about these supernatural creatures. How would he differentiate engkantos from humans?

"Alam nila mag-mukhang tao, alam nilang mag-anyong tao, and they can blend because they look like us. Kaya lang ang sinasabi nila wala raw silang ganito [points to the canal above his lips]. Yung parang kanal natin sa ilalim ng ilong. Ang isa pa, pag tumingin ka sa mata, yung malapitan tayo, pansin mo ako nakatayo pero kung sa kanila, pagtingin mo sa mata nila baliktad ka. Parang ang reflection mo is always the opposite."
