"It's a reunion of Sampaguita stars."

This was how director-actor Eric Quizon described his upcoming movie Nobody, Nobody But...Juan!, which features his father Comedy King Dolphy Quizon, Eddie Garcia, and Gloria Romero.

These three actors started their showbiz careers in now-defunct film outfit Sampaguita Pictures six decades ago.

Movie Queen Gloria Romero, who is celebrating her 60th year in the business said it was a pleasure working with her longtime colleagues.

"Masayang-masaya ako," she said.  "Kahit na maikli ang role ko dito, noong nalaman ko na makakasama ko si Eddie at si Dolphy, I said yes right away.  After so long, many, many years, ngayon lang ulit kami nagsama-sama."

Eddie, who is also already in his 60th year in show business, recalled what they did in the past while doing Nobody, Nobody But...Juan!

The legendary action star said, "Itong pagsasama namin muling tatlo ay para bang reminiscent of the past.  Well, si Gloria nakasama ko lately sa Fuschia.  Si Dolphy naman medyo matagal-tagal na, noong panahon pa ng RVQ Productions.  Kaya it's always a pleasure to work with two wonderful actors."

Like his co-actors, Dolphy was also excited to work with his fellow veteran actors.  In fact, when he knew that he would be working with Gloria and Eddie, it seemed like he had a flashback in the '50s.

He said, "Noong unang naramdaman ko nang malaman ko na makakasama ko siya, parang nag-flashback sa akin 'yong '50s, 'yong mga ginawa namin.  Marami kaming ginawa noon nina Gloria.  Kami naman ni Eddie, sa video marami kami pero madalas kontrabida.

With their six-decade work experience, he already considered themselves as prized "items" in showbiz.

"Ika ko nga naiba na, e.  Pero natutuwa ako na nagkasama kami ulit.  Ika ko nga noong araw fresh na fresh ang hitsura namin, ngayon collectors item na kami.  Pero ika nga, mga mahal na kami.  Kumbaga sa mga collector's item, mga mahal na collector's item kami," he jested.

This family comedy will open on Christmas Day, December 25, 2009.
