Her 1982 film Himala was even hailed as the Best Asian Film of All Time as a result of an online poll conducted by CNN. This development comes at the heels of Nora's announcement that she plans to return to Philippine showbiz soon.
Maggie Cheung has frequently appeared in Wong Kar Wai's movies such as In the Mood for Love and 2046. Gong Li was also part of 2046 and had a memorable role in Memoirs of a Geisha (2005). This year, the organizers plan to give a tribute to Akira Kurosawa to commemorate the 100th anniversary of his birth. The Japanese filmmaker is behind the classic films Rashomon (1950) and The Magnificent Seven (1960).
The awards night will take place on March 23 at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles, California.

Leonore is not a human being. He is an ugly pig with no right to exist !
Naamoy ko ang baho niya ! Basta vilmanians mabaho sila !
Congratulations NORA!!!
Sagot: Naglalayag Silent Passage in 2004 - a big winner in the Philippines Nora won several best actress awards and abroad big winner in Brussels Filmfest.
100 million percent yan!!!!
Kahanga-hanga ba?
Online na naman????
Here's the big deal - no Filipino actors, actresses, directors and films in the last decade made it to the elite list of nominees in Hollywood's 2010 Green Globe Film Award - except for Nora Aunor. That's a gargantuan achievement!
Those shortlisted in the Green Globe Film Awards are simply the bests in the field - Avatar, Julie and Julia, Cameroon Macintosh, Meryl Streep, George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Martin Scorcese, etc. and from Asia you have Jackie Chan, Gong Li, among others and from the Philippines, you only have Ms. Nora Aunor.
Internationally istariray si Ms. Aunor, hindi ba? Well, she is; she's deserves it because she is simply the greatest Filipino actor of all time. No question there.
Go Ate Guy! Make some more landmark films when you come back
Perhaps you're a devil disguising as human. Basura ka!
