Time flies when you're having fun.

That's exactly how real-life lovers Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera felt while they were shooting their latest film project, You To Me Are Everything, co-produced by GMA Films and Regal Entertainment.

It also helps that both are naturally in love and very familiar with each other, making their scenes together appear effortless on screen. The fact that both stars were not loaded with work during the production stages also made them focused yet relaxed.

"Ang daming moments dito na wala sa script, na improvised lang ni Dingdong at ni Marian. If there's one movie that we've done in the past and compared to this one, ito maya't maya pinag-uusapan namin 'yong characterization, 'yong script. Tama nga si Marian na ang sarap gumawa ng pelikula kapag walang soap na ginagawa only because you can focus on it and you can dwell on it. So fresh na fresh 'yong dating ni Dingdong and ni Marian sa pelikula kasi nga kung sumabay siguro ito sa Endless Love [the couple's upcoming television series] na puro iyakan and se-segue sa movie shoot medyo mahirap," director Mark Reyes said in a press conference at the Imperial Palace Suites in Quezon City held last week.

LOVE AND ACCEPTANCE. The film tells the story of a jovial Igorot named Iska (Marian Rivera), whose simple lifestyle suddenly changes after she inherits a multi-million fortune courtesy of her estranged father.

Raphael's (Dingdong Dantes) fate, on the other hand, runs opposite that of Iska's. He experiences a downturn in his finances when his politician father is charged with corruption. The paths of Iska and Raphael eventually cross when he is hired to tutor the Benguet native on the basics of etiquette and decorum.

Time spent together gives way to love. But the question whether changing one's self entirely for love and to please the other person arises.

Joining Dingdong and Marian in the romantic light-drama film are Jacklyn Jose, Isabel Oli, Bobby Andrews, Pinky Amador, Roxanne Barcelo, Manilyn Reynes, Fabio Ide, Victor Aliwalas, Chinggoy Alonzo, AJ Dee, Andrea Torres, Bella Padilla, Carlo Gonzales, and Jai Reyes.

"I'm very confident with the film. I haven't had a film like this for quite some time that I really enjoyed, na talagang maski two o' clock in the morning tinututukan ko everyday para lang mabuo ang bawat elemento.

"It's very different. This is one film na parang you don't expect where the comedy is coming from. That's very hard to achieve," Direk Mark proudly pointed out.

You To Me Are Everything opens nationwide beginning on Wednesday, May 5.
