The family-oriented film Sa 'Yo Lamang is the 17th anniversary offering of Star Cinema. It will open in cinemas by September 1, 2010.

From the makers of the touching movie Tanging Yaman, comes another ensemble film that delves into the lives of a family that is universal, heartwarming and inspiring.

On September 1, 2010 viewers will be able to watch award-winning and much admired actors in Sa 'Yo Lamang under the helm of acclaimed director Laurice Guillen.

The movie stars Bea Alonzo, Diether Ocampo, Coco Martin, Zanjoe Marudo, Shaina Magdayao, Enchong Dee, Empress, Miles Ocampo, Lauren Young and Grand Slam Queen Lorna Tolentino and Drama King Christopher de Leon.

Ten years since Tanging Yaman made waves nationwide, Star Cinema presents Sa 'Yo Lamang as its tribute to the Filipino family. This movie is the 17th anniversary presentation of Star Cinema.

I think si LORNA TOLETINO ang pinaka BIDA dito like in the tradition of TANGING YAMAN wherein si GLORA ROMERO naman ang pinaka SENTRO ng Movie.

Special ang builling ni BEA ALONZO since may quot;andquot; ito but just the same - si LT ang Nanay nila sa Movie at ISA lang sa mga ANAK ni LT si BEA.

Eh ano pa yung mga Movies ng GMA nyo na pinalabas lately?

Move-on naman na kayo sa RIZAL nyo...
Honestly ako pinanood ko din yun dahil Required sa School.
School pa nga ang nagbenta ng Ticket sa MANUELA Cinemasa tapat ng SHANGRILA MALLpa nga pinalabas...

Like it or not kadramahan your words ang mabenta sa mga Pinoy. Yung ibang genre like Jose Rizal and Baler, hindi mabenta. Marami din awards ang Baler pero hindi kumita ng husto.

si Einstein naman, ganda pa naman ng pangalan pero kung mag-isip parang hanggang 1 plus 1 lang ang kayang isipin. more than a decade na ang Rizal uy. kumita yun kasi educational at required sa school. pero kung own story ng GMA yun na hindi related sa history ng pinas palagay mo kikita ba yun that time? di nila magawa ang drama nun kasi wala naman silang artistang pwedeng isabak sa drama.....move on 2010 na.

To Einstein 1, napakahusay ng JOSE RIZAL ng GMA films. 2 times ko itong pinanood sa sine. Sa URIAN awards of 1998,maraming awards ang Jose Rizal, pero sa BEST PICTURE at best screenplay, natalo sya ng BATA, BATA PAANO KA GINAWA ng Star Cinema. Nanalo din ng best actress si Vilma Santos at si Serena Dalrymple sa supporting category. In short hindi naman grandslam ang Jose Rizal sa lahat ng award giving bodies. At wala rin nai-panalo na international awards ito. Punta ka na lang sa website ng MANUNURI para ma-confirm mo.

To swastika and senso12, WALA KAYONG KARAPATAN na manghusga sa isang pelikula na hindi nyo pa napapanood. Lahat tayo dito pare-pareho lang di pa napanood ang SA YO LAMANG. Wala pa ngang date ang premiere night,pero basura na ang sinabi nyo. Next time GAMITIN NYO ANG PINAG-ARALAN NYO. SAYANG. Pag napanood na natin ang pelikula, saka na lang tayo magbigay ng judgement para fair. Kabilang na kayo sa mga pepsters na mahilig magbigay ng critique without even watching the movie na tinutukoy. Nakakahiya.

kaya nga gustong ieducate ng GMA ang mga pinoy tungkol k rizal at sa history, kung ang mga walang kwentang mga kadramahan ang papanoorin nu? ano matututonan nu, kaya boboo minsan ang mga pinoy gaya nu, look at shwtime's contestant, dahil cguro sa kapapanood ng walang kwentang star cinema kaya ganun ang nangyari.un ang resulta,mas naapreciate pa ng ibang bansa ung rizal, kc mas intellectual sila mg icp,ganun b kaya xa award winning.kc my kabuluhan.

in short sobrang inggit ang mga kapuso kasi nga nmnn 3x to 4x lang magproduce ng movie ang GMA may co-produce hahanga na ako sa GMA kung makapagSOLO sila...yun lang ang point ko...ah yung kay RIZAL ng GMA kumita lang yun kasi nga REQUIRED sa school kahit sbhin nila na 30 lang sine noon...isa na ako dun sa mga nonood TOTAL alam n nmn namin ang STORY lumabas na lang kami ng sinehan nagbayad lang kami kasi baka mapagalitan ng teacher nmn...

uy, ayon sa all time box office result ng Pilipinas, pang 14 lang daw ag jose rizal, from no. 1 to 13 at 15 ay puro star cinema movies... kala ko ba walang makakakatalo. olats pala....hahahahaha

hehehe, i-compare daw ba, eh P30.00 lang bayad nun sa sinehan nung pinalabas yan..

actually, hndi tama ang factor of comparison--dapat yung number of viewers ang basehan, hndi yung gross, kc iba-iba naman ang bayad sa sinehan nung ipinalabas sila..

susme, baka yung mga blockbusters ng VIVA during the Sharon era, eh walang panama ang mga kita ng mga movies ngayon..

during her peak years, na tig-P15.00 lang yata ng admission sa balcony na yun ha--eh nakakarinig na rin kami ng P20M na first day gross nun..

imagine kung sa present ticket price ngayon iko-compute yun?? aba, baka times 5-10 cguro ang labas kaysa sa mga grosses ngayon..
