Is it true that Marian Rivera intentionally did not tell boyfriend-actor Dingdong Dantes about her sexy role in Temptation Island?


This question raised a lot of eyebrows but the GMA-7 star clarified: "Hindi naman sa hindi nagpapaalam. Alam ni Dong kasi kilala niya ako at alam kong malaki ang respeto niya sa akin at saka ako din sa kanya. Alam ko malaki ang tiwala sa akin na hindi ako gagawa ng bagay na hindi ko kaya," the actress revealed in an interview with 24 Oras recently.

The sexy comedy movie also features other Kapuso stars, namely Heart Evangelista, Lovi Poe and Solenn Heusaff. Among the four beauties, Marian apparently got the "sexiest" role.  She reprises the role of a con artist originally played by Azenith Briones in the '80s film directed by the late Joey Gosiengfiao.

Directed by Chris Martinez, the remake of Temptation Island also focuses on the misadventures of four beauty pageant contestants stranded on an island.

Marian is one actress who never gives up, even when she is faced with a "challenging" role like this one.


"Talagang bago ito sa akin. Nahirapan akong magpa-sexy although naman dati may mga pictorials na ganoon. Pero talaga ngayon yung sobra," the actress revealed.

Despite her hectic schedule, Marian plans to spend quality bonding time with boyfriend Dingdong Dantes during the Holy Week.
