Marian Rivera returns to the sand dunes of Paoay, Ilocos Norte not to shoot Temptation Island but to be part of the action-fantasy movie Panday 2.

Bong Revilla Jr. personally asked for Mother Lily Monteverde's permission to allow Marian to shoot this film since Marian is a contract artist of Regal.

Co-produced by Imus Productions and GMA Films, Panday 2 is a follow-up of the 2009 movie that adapted Carlo J. Caparas' Panday comics. Mac Alejandre directs this movie.

For this shooting day in Ilocos, Marian and Bong were joined by fellow stars Phillip Salvador and Mark Lapid.

During his interview with 24 Oras aired last week, Bong told the press: "Itong Panday 2, talagang pinaghihirapan natin para lumabas na mas maganda kaysa sa Part 1."

Marian was quoted as saying: "Ako po dito si Arlana, isa akong Dragonna." Her character is said to be a dragon who is cursed to become a human.

Last March, the stars of Panday 2 already shot scenes in Baras, Rizal for the said movie. (CLICK HERE to read related article)



Panday 2 is one of the eight entries that will compete in the 37^th edition of the Metro Manila Film Festival this December.
