Daniel Padilla is now a certified platinum recording artist

ABS-CBN actor Daniel Padilla is now a certified platinum recording artist.

His self-titled debut album reached platinum status after selling more than 20,000 copies in less than three months.

According to Star Records audio content manager Jonathan Manalo, this makes Daniel one of the fastest albums to turn platinum.

The 17-year-old actor is currently the leading man of Kathryn Bernardo in the primetime teleserye Princess and I.

His self-titled album has 6 tracks, including “Pagsubok,” “Paniwalaan Mo,” “Prinsesa,” “Grow Old With You,” “Ako’y Iyo Ika’y Akin Lamang,” and its carrier single “Hinahanap-hanap Kita.”

Daniel’s debut album is available in record bars nationwide.

    cute siya ,i wont be surprised why young girls are going crazy, but please let him attend voice lesson first, watching him on tv singing turns me off , he is out of tune... please .. no offense to her fans.

    i saw him in person here in kcc gensan last week..gwapo talaga...grabe parang hot cake lang album nya. mabilis naubos parang lang makapag picture with daniel...lakas talaga hatak nya sa mga teenagers.

    congrats danielle yun concert ni rachelle ann urong sulong ang date hindi ko rin alam kung umabot man lang ng gold yun album nya hayyyy. Lumipat kasi s anumber one network na ang fans ay mga lamok o kundi naman yun mga tambay sa kanto...dinaig pa ni danielle mga tunay na singers ng gma tsk tsk.

    hahaha d na kc uso ang biritan ngayun sa piipinas.. di mo ba matanggap kinabog na yung pinagmamalaki mong mga singers ng party payatas ay tinalo pa ng isang hinde singer ng abs.. hahaha... ngayun d daw maganda ang tatse ng listeners ng abs... so d rin maganda ang taste ni gozon na pipiratahin c christian bautista..hahahaha

    Woww! Amazing! Sana on his second album, seryosohin na nya and mag-effort pa ng husto para lalong mahasa ang talent nya sa music. Well, in all fairness naman sa bagets na 'to, may magandang tone of voice naman talaga at he can play the guitar at drums. At sana, bigyan na sya ng abs-cbn at star records ng matinong launching ng album nya at total packaging as a phenomenal rockstar daw. Not a fan, but gusto ko 'tong bagets na to kasi hindi mashowbiz at diresto kung sumagot. In fairness, Congrats! hehehe

    korek... kahit pangit yang dalawa na yan ay ok lang... kung c jovit at marccelito nga kahit ganun ichura eh mas marame pang album at shows nagyun ksa kna mark bautsiata at rachel go.. hahaha.. dati cna rachel at mark dami shows here and abroad, sikat at sunod sunod ang albums... noong naunta sa gma hayun.....nga nga

    NO QUALITY. If Dennis Padilla is an indication of WHAT kind of singers Philippines has thesedays, it is no wonder that Philippine singers PALE in comparison with other ASIAN pop singers. Yung mga Koreano, yung mga Indonesian, yung mga Bombay, yung mga Japanese, chinese, na a appreciate ng FOREIGN markets ang QUALITY.

    Eh Kung walang Quality, bakit naging Platinum? Si Jonalyn Viray.. hanggang ngayon, nag papa tumbling pa rin sa Party Pilipinas.. ni Isang Concert na malaki, hindi ko man lang siya napapanood.. sayang ang boses.. wala kasi sa tamang Lugar at Management.. Tingnan mo si Rachel Anne Go at Mark.. Diyos ko po.. anong nangyari.. Si K Brosa nga noong nasa GMA 7 di siya nakaka pag show sa abroad.. ngayon? siya mismo hirap sa schedule at daming raket na bigay ng ABS.. hay sana kung mag cocomment tayo,, yung totoo lang sana na may basehan hindi yung may masabi lang.

    palagay mo ba kaya pumatok sa mga teenagers natin ang mga K pop singers dahil sa quality voice nila? ni hindi nga natin maintindihan ang lyrics at marami pang mas magaling na filipino singers kumpara sa kanila kaso malakas ang hatak nila sa mga kabataan natin dahil sa karisma at cutie looks nila...un po ang case ni daniel padilla, di man kagalingan pero malakas ang karisma sa masa.

    nagagalingan ka sa mga Kpop ngayon? they are mere trend. In 10 years tatanda na ang mga yan kasama ni bieber at yung mga fan girl nila ngayon magmamature na at iisipin OMG nagkacrush ako sa mga mukhang tomboy.

    Sorry guys, Boy Abunda has been quoted into saying that in five years, Daniel Padilla is going to be one of the biggest star in Philippine movies. And I agree with him. Mayroong Charisma si Daniel na wala ang iba. Huwag lang lumaki ang ulo, enhance his acting and singing ability, then for sure we have a STAR in the name of Daniel Padilla.
