The ‘80s Regal Baby Gabby Concepcion will
perform with Toni Gonzaga, Valerie Concepcion, and Joross Gamboa in the
concert-comedy show Faces, Voices and Bodies on August 14,
2008.
A concert-comedy show combines Gabby Concepcion with three
young talented performers: TV hosts Toni Gonzaga and Valerie Concepcion as well
as young actor Joross Gamboa.
Together, the four showbiz personalities are expected to sparkle at the Zirkoh-Timog comedy bar stage, on August 14 (Thursday at 10 pm) in the show titled, Faces, Voices and Bodies. Special guests that night will be the Baywalk Bodies, Raphael Martinez, Lex Lopez, and Eleonor G.
Doing the front acts for the two-hour show are Yellow Milano of Hot Tzikz,
Trisha Gayod, Kobe Bryant Yulo, Kaye Hiñola, Jmore, Camille Tarray, Mo Jack,
Garry Esguerra, Princess Mampusti, and Pinky Fernandez.
Meanwhile, the all-male dance group Windbrakers will be tapped to elicit shrieks from giddy teen fans.
Valerie Concepcion is very excited about the comedy show and even quipped that Gabby Concepcion is her "long lost father."
"Siyempre, ang guwapo-guwapo pa rin ni Gabby. Napapanood ko
noon ang mga movies niya, wala pa ring pinagbago. Excited ako sa show. Kung
gusto niya, pwede rin kaming mag-duet," says the Wowowee host.
Faces,
Voices and Bodies also
marks the first time Gabby and Toni will be doing a show together. Now that
Gabby is a certified recording artist under Warner Music, he is out to show
that he can excel in the comedy bar scene.
The director is Victor Felarca while the show's producer is
entertainment writer-columnist Roldan Castro.
