The DEY, a Latin hip hop group,
will be coming to the Philippines to perform for a gig at Alchemy in
Pasig City. Divine Torres, Elan Rivera, and Yeyo Cancio-Bello are the
people behind DEY and they will have their album promo tour in the country from
October 4 to 6.
Their debut album The DEY Has Come aims to address the concerns of today's generations of multicultural urbanites and is also poised to revolutionize the Latin, pop, and urban markets with its eclectic sound. Each single in the album showcases a different facet of the group. The DEY also co-wrote and featured on pop star Paula DeAnda's hit "Walk Away" and in Sean Kingston's latest hit single "There's Nothin."
The bilingual Latino trio fuses hip-hop, R&B, pop, and Afro-Latino influences for a unique, singing/rapping fusion-heavy sound that celebrates Latinos' rich cultural heritage while also inviting non-Latinos to share in the festivities. The DEY Has Come includes production from hitmakers Timbaland, JR Totem (Rihanna) and Stargate (Neyo).
Catch The DEY as they showcase their music on October 4, 8 pm, at the Alchemy. The trio dubbed as "the Latin Black Eyed Peas" will also guest on GMA-7 and MYX shows.
The DEY's debut album The DEY Has Come is now available at
all record stores nationwide under Sony BMG Music Entertainment.
Date: October 4 (Saturday) 8 pm
