Fresh from his six-city European tour with Piolo Pascual and Pokwang, Sam Milby will be having his first major solo concert at the Aliw Theater this Saturday, October 25. Dubbed as Sam Milby: Rockoustic Heartthrob, this one-night only event features special guests such as Yeng Constantino and other surprise guests. According to a source, Anne Curtis felt bad when Sam announced their "breakup" to the public, prompting her to go on a weeklong vacation in the United States.

Viewers of the concert can look forward to seeing Sam interact with Anne onstage since the Dyosa lead star is part of the lineup of the concert.
Under the musical direction of Marvin Querido, Rockoustic Heartthrob will showcase Sam's versatility by having him perform various musical genres from pop to rock to R&B. Joining Sam onstage is the G Force with Ms. Georcelle Dapat as choreographer and Mr. Johnny Manahan as the director of the show.
What can viewers expect from Sam? "I'll be singing songs that I chose, there are also love songs pero rock versions. I believe lahat ng songs bagay for me and there will be a duet with Arnel Pineda and a duet with Yeng Constantino for the song ‘Magmahal Muli.'"
Audiences can also look forward to Sam's production number with the Dynamite Dance Crew of ASAP '08.
How did Sam prepare for his first major solo concert? He told the press in an earlier interview, "I downloaded the songs in my iPod, I listen to them and I learn the songs, especially the ones that I want to play on my guitar."
When asked to choose between acting and singing, Sam paused a bit before answering, "First passion ko talaga ang singing pero it's leveled out now between acting and singing."
The Rockoustic Heartthrob says that he plans to release his next album by 2009. Sam is already a certified platinum recording artist since his 16-track album A Little Too Perfect was a big hit in 2007.
