After releasing the single BMD, the band Cueshé releases its new single titled "There Was You." This is their second single from the album Driven.
If there's a band that is more "driven" these days, it would be Cueshé. Despite their popularity and status, the group composed of Jay, Ruben, Jovan, Fritz, Jhunjie and Mike, is as determined and as hardworking as before especially with their third album Driven.
The album, which is released under Sony BMG Music Entertainment, produced the hit lead single "BMD" which made its way to the music charts and experienced heavy airplay on radio stations nationwide. There is something to look forward to again to Cueshé as they release the second single off the album titled "There Was You." This heartwarming track was written by vocalist-guitarist Ruben Caballero.
"I was struck by the song ‘I'd Rather' by Luther Vandross and this inspired me to write ‘There Was You,'" said Ruben. "Of course, my family and fans came to mind when I wrote this song."
Its music video is now playing on music channels MYX and MTV. Directed by independent film director Jowee Morel, the video incorporated a story that captured the essence of the song.
