History shall be made on March 14, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds as legendary group Journey marks their grand entrance to the music world in the Philippines. Filipino vocalist Arnel Pineda leads the band as they perform for the concert dubbed as An Evening with Journey.

This marks the second leg of the Revelation tour beginning in Asia and Southeastern Asia. Aside from performing in the Philipipnes, the legendary rock band will also be seen in Japan, China, and Hawaii. This tour is the first time that Journey will return to Japan since 1998. This event is also the first time that Journey will perform in the Philippines and China. This May, the iconic rock band will have shows in the United States.

Thanks to Mossimo Music, Music Management International and co-presentors Coors Light, Smart, SM Mall of Asia, SM Supermalls, Ask PLDT 101-811 and PCSO, Filipinos will witness the world-class performance that the band has done around the world. Journey members Neal Schon, Ross Valorie, Jonathan Cain, Dean Castronovo, and their crew arrived in Manila last March 1 and they were welcomed by their frontman.

Some may call it a fairytale for Arnel Pineda, some may see it as a streak of luck but witnessing the unbelievable talent that he exudes will further emphasize his rightful spot in the group's legendary roster. In a recent interview, the singer who hails from Sampaloc, Manila states, "...there's only one Steve Perry in this world...breathing new life to Journey's legendary sound means "a lot of hard work on my part."
