Star Records, in cooperation with Sony Music Philippines, releases two music albums featuring the finalists of the recently concluded talent-search show Pilipinas Got Talent.

Grand winner Jovit Baldivino finally fulfils his dream of having a solo album through Faithfully.  This is a compilation of the 16-year-old singer's famous PGT audition piece "Faithfully;" his song for the finals night; "Too Much Love Will Kill You;" Jon Bon Jovi's "Always;" and two new songs written by Christian Martinez titled "Paano" and "I'll Be The One."

Jovit, who started singing since he was three years old, said he never thought this day would come to him.

"Buong buhay ko po, ngayon lang po ako nagka-album 'tapos solo pa po.  Hindi ko po akalain na magkaka-solo album ako," he told PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other invited press at the media launch of his album last July 15.

With the release of his debut album, Jovit hopes that his fans during his stint on Pilipinas Got Talent will continue to support him now that he has started his music career.

He said, "Ine-expect ko po na mamahalin po 'yong mga kanta ko ng mga Pilipino.  At sana hindi nila makalimutan ang mga kanta ko."

PINOY YOU GOT IT.  Aside from Jovit, three other finalists are also given the chance to release part of another music album that Star Records and Sony Music Philippines is releasing.

The Ezra Band, Markki Stroem, and Sherwin Baguion recorded three songs each to complete the album Pinoy You Got It. Markki included the songs "Ordinary People," "Mahal na Mahal" and "Tell Me." The Ezra Band recorded "Runaway," "Wonderful Tonight," and "Walang Iba." Sherwin contributed the songs "Tayong Dalawa," "Kailangan Kita" and "Bakit Hindi Mo Na Kaya."

"We came up with this concept na ang dami kasi talagang magagaling sa Pilipinas Got Talent, that's a fact.  Marami pa kaming pwedeng gawan, e.  Pero siyempre, uunti-untiin natin," said Star Magic managing director Annabelle Regalado-Borja about the union of three PGT finalists in one music album.

Like Jovit, the other PGT finalists were excited about their first album.

Sherwin said about becoming part of the industry, "Naninibago po kami kasi nga, siyempre, biglaan.  Noong pangarap lang pero ngayon nandito na po kami.  Pero sinasanay po namin ang sarili namin na makisabay sa mga celebrities."

Markki added that despite the fame they're getting, they shouldn't forget the people who really supported them since the beginning. The Fil-Norwegian said, "It's always nice to be noticed.  It's important lang po to be nice sa lahat ng tao kasi sila ang reason kung bakit nandito kami."

Karen Jade "Kaye" Cal of Ezra band seconded, "Nakakapanibago nga po talaga.  Parang hindi pa rin kami makapaniwala.  Hindi rin po namin tinatanggihan [ang fans sa pagpapa-picture] hangga't kaya namin.  Sila po talaga ang reason kung bakit nandito kami ngayon and isang way po rin 'yon sa pagpapasalamat namin sa kanila."

PGT PROVINCIAL TOUR.  Meanwhile, ABS-CBN has sponsored a nationwide concert tour for the Pilipinas Got Talent finalists.  Jovit, Markki, Sherwin, and the Ezra band will be joined by fellow PGT contestants Ingrid Payaket and Keith Deliva.  They will also have Juris Fernandez as their special guest.

This concert series will kick off on July 23 at the Cuneta Astrodome.  Ticket prices at P150 and P250; and with free album for P575, P750, and P1000.  Then, provincial tour will begin on July 31 at the Cebu Waterfront Hotel Grand Ballroom.
