Christian Bautista feels lucky to have Angelica Panganiban as his leading lady for the music video of "Nakaraang Pasko." This is the carrier single of his latest album titled A Wonderful Christmas.
"This album is very special to me because it's my very, very first full-length Christmas album," says the Filipino singer who has been dubbed Asia's Romantic Balladeer. "I have the most beautiful Christmas tunes here and I also got to record a song I've written [Christmas Time]."
Produced by Ito Rapadas for Universal Records, A Wonderful Christmas also marks the return of Liza Chan-Parpan to the recording scene. The daughter of Jose Mari Chan sang "The Gift of Christmas" with Christian. This song is written by Jose Mari's son Michael Chan.
Romance Revisited: The Love Songs Of Jose Mari Chan, which recently given a Triple Platinum Award, continues to make waves in the international front.
It was also released in Indonesia (where it was certified Double Platinum for registering 1 million downloads), Malaysia, Singapore and, soon, Thailand.
Christian had the privilege of collaborating with each territory's major singers such as Bunga Cistra Lestari (Indonesia), Noryn Aziz (Malaysia) and Kewei Tay (Singapore).
Christian will be flying to Indonesia to shoot his first solo-starrer movie titled Senandung Luar Biasa (international title: Jayden's Choir) which will be shown in 2011. (CLICK HERE to read more about this movie)
