Who would have thought that the cute, adorable tot in a popular toothpaste commercial way back in 1985 would be celebrating her 20th anniversary in show business while still in her prime? Veteran actress Judy Ann Santos, who has reaped several awards, is only 29.

Judy Ann was first known as "Ula, ang batang gubat" but what endeared her to the people was her role as the dutiful, martyr daughter "Mara" in ABS-CBN's heartwarming soap opera Mara Clara. The country watched her grow up during her teeny-booper days until she became one of the country's brightest stars. Now, Juday marks another milestone in her life with her Kapamilya Network.

In celebration of her two fruitful decades in showbiz, ABS-CBN offers two major events. The first is her 20th anniversary special dubbed Bida ng Buhay Ko: 20 Years of Judy Ann Santos. This star-studded event will be held at the Araneta Coliseum on Saturday, June 16, 2007. Her second major event is marked by her comeback in television, a new teleserye entitled Ysabella that will start airing this July.

Judy Ann has come a long, long way since her acting debut in the 1986 tearjerker Kaming Mga Ulila. From the telenovela princess playing mostly martyr roles, to being the other half of three successful love teams, she has become a multi-awarded screen actress known for embodying smart, fearless, and independent women.

Besides her achievements in film and TV, Judy Ann has also ventured into other fields—as a singer (she has made three recording albums), endorser (she appeared in a number of advertisements for products she uses and believes in; even endorsing her preferred politicians), business woman (she owns the Kaffe Carabana restaurant in Quezon City), and chef (she has completed culinary courses at the Center for Asian Culinary Studies).

But acting remains her top profession.

Fans witnessed her struggling years from a skinny kid, to being on the heavy side in her teenage years, and how she battled her critics and detractors by going into the rigorous discipline of boxing, and finally emerging as the lean, slender role model for fitness that she is now.

Local showbiz aficionados eagerly followed every chapter in her private life—her relationships with former loveteam Wowie de Guzman and Rico Yan, and now we see how happy she is with her current beau, actor and TV host Ryan Agoncillo.

Join Judy Ann and some of her friends in the entertainment industry, as she thanks her fans and supporters in Bida ng Buhay Ko: 20 Years of Judy Ann Santos, on June 16 (8 p.m. onwards) at the Araneta Coliseum.

A photo exhibit showcasing the 20 Highlights of Judy Ann's Career will also be open for public viewing at the Araneta. The primetime telecast of this one-of-a-kind concert will be aired on June 30 at the Kapamilya Network.

Tickets are free. Just tune in to ABS-CBN for more details.
