Charice is preparing for return to the concert stage after mourning the death of her father for the past few weeks.
In her official Twitter account, Charice expressed her gratitude to the people who sympathized with her when her father, Ricky Pempengco, was stabbed to death last October 31, 2011.
"Hi everybody. Thank you for all of the support and condolences. This has been a difficult time. But, my family and I are healing and I hope to see you all at my performance in San Francisco, November 19th.
"Again, Thank you so much and I love you all," wrote the 19-year-old singer on the microblogging site last November 12.
On November 15, Charice also posted this update on her Twitter account: "Looking forward to seeing everyone at my show in SF."
Charice is slated to perform in San Francisco for the Handog Pasasalamat: The Thanksgiving Unity Event of the Year.
In a statement released by the producers of the show, they commended the young singer for her professionalism:
"Despite the recent tragedy Charice's family has endured..., Charice has confirmed that she will be performing at the Handog Pasasalamat concert on Nov. 19 at the Cow Palace in San Francisco. She has shown tremendous professionalism and dedication to her awaiting fans in the bay area so as not to disappoint them."
