Tommy Abuel alternates with Bembol Roco as Fidel in Benjamin Pimentel's Mga Gerilya sa Powell Street. Adapted for stage by Rody Vera, this production is directed by Chris Millado and features Lou Veloso, Menchie Cobarrubias, Dido de la Paz, Joe Gruta, Ces Aldaba, Daniel Magisa, Madeleine Nicolas, Missy Maramara, Paolo O'Hara, Mcdonnel Bolanos, Mailes Kanapi, Bong Cabrera, Jonathan Tadioan, and Kathlyn Castillo.

Mga Gerilya sa Powell Street tells the lives of Filipino war veterans struggling for the fulfillment of a promise long due while playing for time in the long cold nights of a faraway land. The dying, unsung heroes of Powell Street are guardians of our collective memory fast fading.
