"Kalila Aguilos has definitely got things going for her. As a regular face on the entertainment industry, she has recently appeared in several television series: ABS-CBN's Imortal, Lobo and GMA-7's comedy series Camera Café. Her recent big-screen movies are Emir (2010), You Changed My Life (2009), A Very Special Love (2008) and independent films Haw-Ang (2007), Ligalig (2006), Inang Yaya (2006).
"But more than just a powerful television and movie actress, Aguilos is also known for her roles in theater productions such as Zsa Zsa Zaturnnah, Troyanas, Ang Mga Huwad.
"Aguilos has been named one of the Top Twenty Independent Actors for four consecutive years (2007-2010) and was nominated Best Actress in A Leading Role at the International Filmmaker Film Festival for her role as Sister Adel in Haw-Ang.
"Kalila Aguilos now takes on another musical as she plays the part of Wannabe in the upcoming musical theater production titled DragonTales.
"DragonTales is an original narrative about magical Dragon Realm that is divided by the appearance of a Half Dragon who claims to be the eligible successor of the King.
"The tale features breathtaking Asian music, dance, drama and an English text that displays various Asian values such as friendship, family, respect and love.
"After its performance in the Philippines, DragonTales will be toured in Asian cities including Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong and Shanghai during the third quarter of 2011.
"Joining Aguilos are a cast of high-caliber actors, who include the biggest names in the theater and television industry today: Banaue Miclat, Miguel Vasquez, Neomi Tabanao-Gonzales, Nar Cabico, Meann Espinosa, Lex Marcos, Carlon Matobato and Joel Molina.
"Playing the role of Miki is Gani Karim, a multi-disciplinary performer and sought after choreographer and arts educator in his hometown Singapore.
"DragonTales is directed by Jeremiah Choy, a multi-awarded Singaporean director responsible for the critically acclaimed Machine for TheaterWorks, which won him Best Director in the 2002 DBS Life!
