JM de Guzman has openly admitted his love for ABS-CBN actress Jessy Mendiola.

When the Kapamilya actor was asked to name the happy moments in his life, JM said that he is happiest when he gets to watch “her” on television.

He later admitted on the August 2 episode of Kris TV that the lady bringing him much happiness is Jessy Mendiola.

Kris Aquino reminded JM that in a previous interview, he had said that he and Jessy Mendiola were already an item.

However, Iza Calzado pointed out that Jessy mentioned in a recent interview that she and JM were just close friends.

Former GMA-7 actress Iza then said that the label “boyfriend-girlfriend” is different from “dating exclusively” and again from “close friends.”

Kris asked directly, “Why are you saying that you’re in a relationship?”

JM—named one of 100 Most Beautiful Stars for 2012 by YES! Magazine—answered, “Siguro, may pagkakaintindihan na, alam mo yun, mahal mo siya, mahal ka niya…”

Kris and Iza reacted immediately to JM’s declaration.

Iza exclaimed, “Ang bigat nun! Hindi basta-basta nilalagay sa table: the love card.”

Kris then asked JM to clarify things: “She knows you love her. You know you love her. Do you know if she loves you?”

JM admitted, “Yun ang hindi ko pa masyadong…”

The TV host-actress then followed it up with: “So you're saying: 'As far as I’m concerned, I love her'?”

JM answered: “Yes. Wala naman akong hinihinging kapalit.

“If ayaw man ng Diyos na siya yung babae, or hindi talaga, matatanggap ko pa rin.

"Masasabi ko lang, napakabuti niyang tao, napakaganda niya—sa loob at labas.
