Hero Angeles faced the cameras once again when he taped episodes for two GMA-7 shows: Maynila and the game show Tok! Tok! Tok! Isang Milyon, Pasok. The Star Circle Quest (SCQ) alumnus relates his experience of working with Kapuso stars who have done reality shows like himself.
"Ka-partner ko sa Maynila sina LJ Reyes and Jackie Rice. It's a light story about college love. Ako yung boyfriend ni LJ sa story and may love triangle kami ni Jackie. I play Mike while LJ plays Carla. Jackie portrays the role of Joan in the story," narrates Hero.
"Nangangapa ako noong una. Medyo naninibago kasi first time ko uli humawak ng script sa GMA-7. Okay naman yung staff ng Maynila. Accommodating sila and friendly. Nag-shoot kami sa Parks and Wildlife sa Quezon Avenue.
"Nag-usap kami ni LJ tungkol sa mga love teams. Napagkwentuhan namin yung tungkol sa kanila ni Mike Tan."
It will be remembered that Hero had a misunderstanding with his love team partner Sandara Park in his former mother station, ABS-CBN. On the other hand, LJ used to have a relationship with Mike Tan, her former love team partner.
Aside from taping an episode for the GMA-7 drama anthology show Maynila, the grand winner of SCQ will also be seen in the upcoming episode of Tok! Tok! Tok! Isang Milyon, Pasok. In the game show hosted by Paolo Bediones, Hero was partnered with traffic enforcers in a series of physical challenges in order to win the grand prize.
