Tama ka, nanguna ang Marimar. At yun ay nagbabadya nang hindi maganda sa ABS-CBN, kasi minsan nang nakahabol ang GMA-7 sa national ratings.
E sa Mega-Manila, nagkaroon na ba ng katulad sa Marimar ang ABS-CBN na nanguna din?
Ewan ko lang pero wala akong matandan.
Ang pagiging number 1 ay relative...number 1 saan...sa ratings? saang lugar? kung nationwide, e di ABS-CBN nga. Kung mega-manila, e di GMA-7. E kung sa dami ng advertising loads, e di GMa-7.
Unlike you, kahit kapuso ako, kinikilala ko na lamang ang ABS-CBN sa national ratings. At yun ay may dahilan. Sana naman ay tanggapin mo din na may mga lugar na number 1 naman ang GMA-7.
At huwag kang mag-alala, unti-unti nang pinapalakas ng GMA-7 ang mga signal nito. Hindi naman sila natutulog sa kangkungan. At least, may ginagawa ang GMA-7 para maimprove ang signal nito at maabutan ang ABS-CBN.
E ang tanong ko, bakit kaya sa Mega-Manila. Kahit anong gawin ng ABS-CBN, e hindi nila mapataob ang GMA-7. Ano naman ang dahilan kung bakit ganito? Signal din ba, o sadyang wala itong laban?

Relatively, mas accurate ang meter measurements kasi mas real time at mas electronically verifiable. Ang household survey kasi, walang certainty. Kung telephone ang ginamit, it will exclude household na walang phone, at di sigurado kung yung sumagot ay nagsasabi ng totoo. Kung recall data naman, mas lalong malabo ang reliabiility kasi hindi real time ang data.
Ang mas maganda pa dito, sa MEGA-Manila nakatutok ang mga advertisers, so higher ratings means higher revenues. This is why despite ther low ratings nationwide, GMA-7 is still much better in terms of advetising revenues. ABS-CBN, while lording it over nationally, is not totally happy about this kasi aanhin mo nga naman ang ratings kung di mo naman ito matranslate sa advertising revenues.
