Sa live guesting ni Mariel Rodriguez sa The Buzz last Sunday, April 26, hinarap niya ang sampung matitinding tanong ni Kris Aquino para sa segment na "Tough Ten."

Bago ang tanungan ay inamin pa ni Kris na isa talaga sa mga paborito niya si Mariel.

"She's really one of my favorites. Mahal na mahal ko siya," ani Kris sabay puri sa pagiging maganda at blooming ni Mariel.

Tough Ten Question No. 10: Affected ka ba kapag sinasabi na OA ka or kulang ka sa pansin?

Mariel: Sobrang I'm not affected kasi it's true. I'm really OA and kulang sa pansin.

Kris: Mula sa pagkabata?

Mariel: Yeah, it's really my personality. Gusto ko big talaga ako. If I'm sad, I'm super sad talaga. If I'm happy, I'm super happy.

Kris: So, tanggap mo kung iyan ang opinyon ng mga tao?

Mariel: Yes, okay lang.
 

Tough Ten Question No. 9: I-rank mo yung mga co-host mo sa Wowowee, 1 being your most liked at pinaka-close sa iyo: RR (Enriquez), Valerie (Concepcion), Pokie (Pokwang)?

Mariel: Okay... well of course, I like all of them. So, whoever is number 3 it doesn't mean that I don't like that person. It's just that I'm really closest to Pokie.

Kris: So, siya yung number one?

Mariel: Siya ang number one ko kasi parang she's the "older" one. So, parang nanay siya sa amin. Sobra siyang mabait sa akin. Super maalalahanin. Si RR is my number two, kasi we're both super kikay. And we text every night ng mga pampaganda or whatever. She's like me also. Si Val naman is my number three. But it doesn't mean that I don't like her. I like Valerie also.

Kris: I-describe mo siya, kasi di ba may maalalahanin, mabait, tapos may kikay, and all. Tapos number three, o ano si Valerie?

Mariel: Si Val naman, magkasundo kami sa shopping abroad. Talagang those are our bonding moments.
 

Tough Ten Question No. 8: Super tagal ka na sa Wowowee, was there ever a time na nagpa-cute or nagparamdam sa iyo si Willie (Revillame)?

Mariel: Oh my gosh, no! I'm super not his type.

Kris: Ano bang type niya?

Mariel: Parang hindi ako. Parang bata yung tingin niya sa akin. Feeling ko talaga parang five-year-old, ganun.

Kris: Bakit? Ayaw niya yata ng maingay.

Mariel: Oo, ayaw niya ng maingay. Gusto niya yung simple lang. Yung parang ano... parang my personality is too strong. So, hindi pwede. And also because he respects his mentor which is Tito Freddie [Garcia]. Sinabihan yata siya ng huwag.

Kris: Your ate is married to FNG's son, so parang ikaw parang kasama na rin nila. So, feeling mo sinabihan siya ni FNG [Freddie Garcia]. Ako naman feeling ko, hindi ka niya type. Yun lang ang feeling ko.
 

Tough Ten Question No. 7: Your emotional sa kahit kanino, sa kahit anumang bagay. Pero sa personal life mo, when was the last time that you cried and why? Are you iyakin?

Mariel: I'm super iyakin. I always cry on anything. Pag birthday ni Toni (Gonzaga), umiiyak ako. Pag birthday ni Bianca (Gonzales), umiiyak ako. Birthday ni Luis (Manzano), iniiyakan ko rin. Pero personal na... birthday ni Tito Boy (Abunda) iniyakan ko rin, pati birthday ko iniyakan ko rin.

Kris: O ano na?

Mariel: Well, I remember, recently lang umiyak ako. I told you why but I can't ano...

Kris: I understand. But even if I understand, they don't understand.

Mariel: Yeah, so to make you understand, I cried po sa personal matter.

Kris: No, personal na pinagdadaanan ni Zanjoe [Marudo, Mariel's boyfriend], na dinama mo for him, di ba? Without giving any details.

Mariel: Yes.

Kris: Kasi hindi naman si Zanjoe ang naka-tough ten.

Mariel: Yes, tama.

Kris: So, Zanjoe next week, ikaw.

 

Tough Ten Question No. 6: Naipakilala ka na ba ni Zanjoe sa buong family niya and do you think like ka nila?

Mariel: Feeling ko like naman ako nila. Yes, I've met all of them. The dad, the mom, the sister.

Kris: Kumain na ba kayo sa labas?

Mariel: It was before, when I went to the States, they met up with me. The dad and the family, they went to me talaga. I appreciate that.

Kris: Sa mom?

Mariel: Sa mom naman, she's here naman. Hi, Tita Osang.

Kris: Type ka niya?

Mariel: Siguro type naman ako. Mabait naman ako. Kahit ganito ako, mabait naman ako.

Kris: Thoughtful ka naman?

Mariel: Yes, binigyan ko sila ng mangoes.

Kris: Binigyan niya ako ng mangga. Si Boy (Abunda), binigyan mo? Si Ruffa (Gutierrez)?

Mariel: Yes, si Tito Boy. Si Ruffa, sa susunod...

Kris: Hala...

Mariel: Magpapa-harvest ako ng bonggang-bongga para kay Ruffa.

Kris: So, okay kayo ng family?

Mariel: Yes.

Kris: That's very good.

 
Tough Ten Question No. 5: Open ba si Zanjoe sa lahat ng mga ex niya, sa lahat ng mga babaeng naging bahagi ng buhay niya? Or are you the type na I'd rather not know?

Mariel: I know, but then he doesn't like to make kuwento about them. Well for him tapos na. But in fairness to the other girls, he doesn't say anything bad about them. Nothing.

Kris: Ilan yung girls?

Mariel: Two sila na matagal. Both sila na non-showbiz. Naku, baka sabihin niya, tough ten-tough ten ka tapos puro sa akin naman yung nire-reveal mo.

Kris: Hindi pa siya sanay sa kadaldalan mo?

Mariel: No, parang nasasanay na siya ng konti. At this point siguro naman no!

Kris: Gaano katagal na ba?

Mariel: One year officially, hahaha! (tawa ni Mariel sa kanyang signature laugh)

Kris: Pero yung unofficial?

Mariel: Yung unofficial, before, parang hindi sila counted kasi we're not really together naman talaga.

Kris: Because, ano yun?

Mariel: Wala, we weren't together. Siguro kasi he was starting out with his career. Tapos, hindi pa kami sure.

Kris: By not together, hindi ko ma-get yun? Parang you were dating, pero walang commitment.

Mariel: Yes. Parang we don't have...like now we have a name for each other.

Kris: Oh yeah, what?

Mariel: So, before wala kaming Honey. Ngayon meron na.

Kris: Anong tawagan n ‘yo?

Mariel: Honey, pag kaming dalawa lang, hahaha!

 
Tough Ten Question No. 4: Sino yung huling pinag-awayan n'yo ni Zanjoe? Nagseselos ka pa ba?

Mariel: No, actually hindi ako nagseselos.

Kris: Promise.

Mariel: Swear, at this point in time hindi na. Kasi before hindi naman kami, so wala kang reason para magselos.

Kris: Ngayon?

Mariel: Hindi na kasi he doesn't give me any reason naman to be jealous. I swear. It's not in his personality talaga to make babae. Bhee! (sabay belat ni Mariel)

Kris: So, yun ang nararamdaman mo?

Mariel: Yes.

Kris: So, kung if ever ayawan ka niya, hindi because meron siyang ibang nagustuhan, pero dahil ayaw ka na niya?

Mariel: Oo, if ever, hahaha!

 

Tough Ten Question No. 3: You are a lolo's girl. If lolo's watching now, what do you want to tell lolo?

Mariel: It's really thank you. I could not thank him enough. You know sa Pinoy Bingo Night [naglaro si Mariel sa PBN kahapon, April 27], I tried to ask my non-showbiz friends. Tapos, they were all not available kasi they all have regular work. And then alam mo, iba talaga ang family kasi one text away, one call away, they were all there. My sister, my lolo, my lola, my two cousins, they were all there for me. Iba talaga ang pamilya. So, thank you talaga, thank you for the unconditional love.

Kris: Si lolo, bakit ikaw ang kanyang favorite?

Mariel: Kasi alam mo he's the shyest person in the world. Pinaka-shy siya. But you know for Pinoy Bingo Night, we're so tense back stage. ‘Dapat pag naglalakad tayo, masaya tayo,' sabi niya at masaya siya. We were so nervous. Sabi ng lola ko, ‘Basta ang importante, manalo tayo.' Okay, thanks lola for the pressure. But they are really like that. They are so happy for me.
 

Tough Ten Question No. 2: Is there pain hanggang ngayon na you are super young, parang hindi mo talaga na-experience ang buong pamilya kasi ang agang naghiwalay ng Mom and Dad mo? Or because, hindi mo naman naranasan, anong mami-miss mo pa?

Mariel: Yes, hindi ko naman naranasan yung...

Kris: How young were you ba? (Kris interrupted Mariel)

Mariel: For as long as I can remember. And for me because my lolo and lola were there. And I think they really did a good job. And I thank them sobra. I'm really happy with what they did. And I'm so grateful coz they raised me up.

Kris: Okay kayo ng dad mo?

Mariel: Okay kami ng dad ko.

Kris: As in you get along? Does he have a new wife?

Mariel: Yes. She's okay naman. Akala ko nga noong una, parang Madrasta, the movie. Pero we have a very good relationship.

Kris: Your Mom, are you okay?

Mariel: We're okay lang. Not so, but then okay.

Kris: If she's watching now, do you think she's watching now?

Mariel: I think so, kasi mother siya e.

Kris: It's hard for me, kasi I know so much, and I don't want to invade your privacy. Ako I feel kasi whatever happens, mommy is mommy, e. So, if mommy is watching, anong gusto mong sabihin sa mom mo?

Mariel: I just hope that she's okay. Yun lang.

 

Tough Ten Question No. 1: If at this moment, or today Sunday, after The Buzz, tapos nag-meet up kayo ni Zanjoe, sabihin niya, "Honey, will you marry me?" anong sagot dun?

Mariel: Not now, pwede ba yun, not now. Kasi I'm...

Kris: Kung yes or no lang?

Mariel: I'm sure naman he's not really gonna do that.

Kris: Yes or no lang ang pwedeng isagot?

Mariel: How's that? You don't enter naman a relationship if you're not ready. In your heart you'll pray that he's the one. But then right now, we're both in a place that we are not ready. I'm sure siya din, marami pa siyang gustong i-accomplish sa life niya. Ako din, I wanna accomplish so much more.

Kris: So, it's a yes or no?

Mariel: For now, not yet, dot, dot, dot. Pwede ba yun?

Kris: Yes or no lang?

Mariel: It's so hard. But if no, it's like no na forever. If I say yes, parang hindi pa naman ready.

Kris: Yes or no?

Mariel: No muna. Tinagalog lang yung not yet. (natawa si Mariel, ganundin ang mga tao sa studio)  No muna. No, dot, dot, dot, muna.

Kris: So, no? No ang sinagot niya. I'm giving you five seconds to change your mind.

Mariel: Pero I really can't get, get married now, Ate Kris. Not yet. I told you I want to accomplish so much more.

Kris: Will you marry me, yes or no?

Mariel: A baka naman...O sige, five years from now, yes!
