Watch Unchanging Love: The Judy Ann Santos-Ryan Agoncillo Wedding Special this Sunday, May 17, on Sunday's Best of ABS-CBN.
The wedding ceremony lasted for only 45 minutes but it was a result of months of preparation. Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo were so secretive about their wedding that most Pinoys were surprised to learn that the couple were already having the wedding ceremony that fateful morning of April 28, 2009.
Details about the wedding were soon broadcast despite the heavy security at the San Juan De Nepomuceno
church in San Juan, Batangas. The wedding ceremony was officiated by Fr. Tito Caluag and it took place inside the parish church filled with large white drapes, chandeliers, and white orchids.
As the lovely bride walked down the aisle, Agot Isidro sang her wedding march titled "Runaway," the 1995 original hit single of The Corrs. During the Offertory, Ogie Alcasid and Agot rendered the song "One Hand, One Heart" from West Side Story. Judy Ann was seen shedding tears when Regine Velasquez and Ogie Alcasid performed "The Prayer" for the Communion. It was actually Regine's surprise to sing during Judy Ann and Ryan's wedding.
The wedding reception took place later that night in Balai Resort in Anilao, Batangas. The APO Hiking Society performed hits songs like "Doobidoo" and "Batang Bata Ka Pa." And while the singing group was performing "Panalangin," Juday and Ryan was seen shedding tears of joy.
Martin Nievera also performed a self-composed song for the couple, "Unchanging Love," which he only recorded four days before the wedding.
Maestro Ryan Cayabyab and director Joey Reyes also collaborated for an original composition titled "Kweto Nating Dalawa." (Click HERE to read the lyrics of the song composed by Direk Joey.)
