The compelling story of Stairway to Heaven has translated into the program's marked improvement in primetime TV ratings. STH has been able to overtake Darna in the ratings game since its pilot episode aired last September 14.

Based on overnight TV ratings data from AGB Nielsen Philippines for Mega Manila last November 12, Stairway to Heaven led all primetime programs with a rating of 36.4 percent. The episode highlighted the reunion of sweethearts Cholo and Jodi who have been separated for a long time.

That day, the Marian Rivera-starrer Darna registered a rating of 33.7 percent.

This week, viewers will witness more twists and revelations in the love story of Cholo (Dingdong Dantes) and Jodi (Rhian Ramos). As Jodi's memory returns, Cholo confronts Charlie, and ends his engagement with Eunice. This angers Eunice and Maita, who eventually connive with Tristan to ruin their relationship. Eunice tries to manipulate the situation, even announcing on national TV that she and Cholo will get married.

Will Eunice's evil plans prevail? As she schemes with Tristan, will Jodi's life once more be in peril? Will Cholo discover the mastermind behind Jodi's accident? 


The finale week of this remake is scheduled on December 7-11.
