ABS-CBN boasts of another star-studded event with its annual Christmas Special which airs on December 13, 10 pm, on Sunday's Best.

With themes covering the past tragedies in the country, the coming election and the Pinoy bayanihan to name a few, the night opens with a powerful and soulful performance by some of the country's most talented singers who rendered Christmas songs. Also carrying the message of nationalism, Kapamilya stars belted out the song "Ako ang Simula."

The hilarious duo, Tito Bhoy and Krizzy (portrayed by Jayson Gainza and Angelica Panganiban) also made an appearance as they introduced the industry's hottest love teams and love triangles followed by an appearance of the real Boy Abunda. The host of The Buzz quipped, "Ako po ang tunay na Boy Abunda. Ang mga regalo nga na dapat po para sa akin, napupunta kay Tito Bhoy."

There was also a video for selected special 'heroes,' ordinary people who saved lives during typhoon Ondoy despite their own limitations. To lighten the mood, comediennes rendered a comedic sketch giving people advice on what to do when there's a storm. Chokoleit pointed out, "Wag magsuot ng itim kasi noong bagyo, nakasuot ako ng itim. Hindi ako mahanap ng rescuers kasi akala nila gulong ako."

With a special May Bukas Pa production number, ABS-CBN launched the face of 60 years of soap opera: Judy Ann Santos. It was also announced that her newest series Habang May Buhay will be the opening salvo of the Kapamilya Network for 2010. Fans were thrilled to get a sneak peek of the newest teleseryes to look forward to in 2010 including Rubi, Precious Hearts Romances presents Impostor, Tanging Yaman and Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo. The cast members of Rubi, namely Angelica Panganiban, Jake Cuenca, and Shaina Magdayao had a sexy Latin-inspired production number while Gary Valenciano serenaded the audience as the powerhouse cast of Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo filled up the stage. These included Kris Aquino and her young son Baby James, who had a punk rock vibe with his black gloves and metal belt. They were joined by Gabby Concepcion, Albert Martinez, Kim Chiu, Gerald Anderson, Maricar Reyes, and Coco Martin. For the show Tanging Yaman, Preview cover girl Agot Isidro sang the theme song while the cast members were presented namely Melissa Ricks, Matt Evans, Rowell Santiago, Mylene Dizon, Erich Gonzales, among others.

The stars also gave a special song and dance tribute for the King of Pop while Star Magic talents shined with their very own production number.

The Kanto Boys (composed of John Lloyd Cruz, Luis Manzano, Billy Crawford and Vhong Navarro) brought the house down with their Lady Gaga-inspired medley. The night ended with an inspirational message by the one and only King of Comedy, Dolphy.
