Claudine Barretto's self-titled drama anthology does not only serve as a venue for the brilliant actress to showcase her wide range in drama but also doubles as a platform for the younger, less experienced stars of the Kapuso Station to discover and explore their own acting potential.

This Saturday, July 17, Aljur Abrenica, Rich Asuncion, Chynna Ortaleza, and Marco Alcaraz will have the rare opportunity of acting alongside GMA-7's queen of television drama in the new episode of Claudine titled "Hostage."

When asked to comment about his experience working with Claudine, Aljur has this to say: "Isang malaking karangalan po ang makasama ang isang Claudine Barretto. Napaka-professional po niya at mabait sa set. Inaalalayan niya po kami sa bawat eksena na kasama ko siya. Kaya imbes po na kabahan ko, parang lumakas pa po yung loob ko na pagbutihan ang pag-arte."

Claudine plays Rhea, a woman who has lost all her hopes in life after her entire family died from an accident. To make matters worse, she was held captive by a young criminal named Abet (Aljur Abrenica) right inside her own house. In this time of turmoil, will Rhea and Abet find redemption or deeper misery in the end?

Directed by Argel Joseph, this episode of Claudine airs on Saturday, July 17, after Pinoy Records on GMA-7.
