Sultry Sam Pinto, the newest member of GMA Network's roster of talents, will play a powerful sorceress in the primetime telefantasya series Ilumina.

This week, Sam's character named Elizaria appears in Ilumina as she guides the beleaguered white sorceress Romana (Rhian Ramos). Elizaria is the most powerful sorceress who leads the white and black sorcerers to live harmoniously in ancient times.

When she learns that someone wants to oust her as the leader of the two tribes, Elizaria writes the laws of the sorcerers known as "Ilumina" which is believed to provide enormous power to whoever possesses it. 

Elizaria appears to Romana in her dreams to guide the young woman in her upcoming battle against the black sorcerers led by Elvira (Jean Garcia). Romana has suffered trauma after she failed to save her father Romano (Cesar Montano) and mother Elsa (Ara Mina) from the wicked hands of Elvira and Romana's twin sister Krisanta (Jackie Rice).

Romana becomes mentally disturbed after her family's misfortunes. Her ardent suitor Antonio (Paulo Avelino) rescues her from a rapist.

To help Romana return to sanity, Antonio sends her to an institution. But when Romana tried to escape, she crosses paths with someone dearest to her heart—Iñigo (Aljur Abrenica). 

Will this be a new start for the former lovers Romana and Iñigo? How long can Elizaria guide Romana? When will Romana finally heal from all her sufferings? 

More twists and revelations will be shown this week as the plot thickens in Ilumina, weeknights after Grazilda on GMA Telebabad.
