Nielsen TV Audience Management names GMA Network's 24 Oras as viewers' top choice from November 8 to 11

GMA Network's flagship newscast 24 Oras, bannered by veteran broadcasters Mike Enriquez and Mel Tiangco, was the viewers' choice from November 8 to 11, according to Mega Manila overnight people ratings data gathered by Nielsen TV Audience Measurement.

According to Nielsen TV Audience Measurement's Mega Manila overnight people ratings data, GMA Network's flagship primetime newscast 24 Oras maintained its lead over its competitors from rival networks for the period of November 8 to 11.

Despite the changes in the roster of news readers in ABS-CBN's TV Patrol and the hype surrounding TV5's new show Willing Willie, Nielsen's respondents preferred 24 Oras, which is bannered veteran newscasters Mike Enriquez and Mel Tiangco.

November 8 ratings data show GMA-7's primetime newscast, with its 11.6 rating points, outclassing ABS-CBN's TV Patrol, 10.7. During the time slot it aired alongside newscasts 24 Oras and TV Patrol, TV5's Willing Willie only managed 10.3 (overlap with 24 Oras).

24 Oras continued its dominance on Tuesday, November 9, as it pulled ahead with 11.9 rating points against TV Patrol's 9.5. During the timeslot it aired alongside the two newscasts, Willing Willie had 10.2 rating points (overlap with 24 Oras).

The following day, Wednesday, November 10, 24 Oras' 11.7 rating points still led TV Patrol's 9.8. Willing Willie only got 10.2 rating points (overlap with 24 ORAS).

By November 11, 24 Oras posted 12.8 rating points as against TV Patrol's 9.9. Willing Willie only managed 11 rating points (overlap with 24 Oras).

The Nielsen's November 8 to 11 ratings data clearly show their respondents preference for 24 Oras.

Anong walang bahid pulitika????? Di ba nung panahon ni gloria lahat yata ng kalokohan ng syete eh gawa nila? ultimo c jowee iiyak-iyak at nagsusumbong pa sa anak nya. Tapos nagsusumbong pa sa ate ng asawa nya. Napuri lang minsan ni gloria,akala ni mike kapit na sa malakas. pati na ang mtrcb nasa panig nila,maski na bastos na ang nalabas sa bibig ni jowee. Aminado na tayo sa kamnyakan ni willie pero bakit di man lang nasuspend c jowee sa mga nalabas sa bibig nya?
Maliit na kumpanya ang syete at malaki ang kinita subukan nyo naman na palakihin yan kundi sumakit ang ulo ng boss nyo. Kahit cno na humawak ng kumpanya na unti-unting lumaki at nag-expand eh naghahanap ng kasapi sa gastos para lumawak ang kanilang nasasakupan. Habang nalaki ang kumpanya nadami din ang babayarang tauhan at bills. Naliit din ang parte nya sa hatian ng kinita.

No question on the content of the news for 24 Oras.... But I'm sorry I really don't like Mike and Mel delivering the news..... Still Korina Sanchez is the best news reader on television.... This is my opinion and I am entitle to it....

Newscasters na may credibility NUMBER ONE talaga! Nawalan na ako nang gana na manood nang TV Patrol....May credibility pa si Ted Failon or Henry Omaga-Diaz nalang ay naku pinalitan nang politician para siguro tatakbo na naman si Noli siguro ay naku huwag na sana yang iboto wala namang nagawa sa bansa sunod-sunuran lang ni Arroyo.
