PRESS STATEMENT FROM TV5:

"January 27 is not just a big day for Willie Revillame but also for his legions of fans and supporters who are avid viewers of Willing Willie every night. Not only will Wil be celebrating his 50th birthday, he will be the one giving the biggest treats to the viewers of Willing Willie.

"Wil makes his month-long birthday celebration even more special on the actual day he turns 50 by awarding the coveted house and lot and the P1 M cash to the show's lucky winners. Also, since there are about 20 cars up for grabs throughout his birthday celebration on the show, another winner will possibly drive home with the biggest smile and a brand new car to boot.

"The show's 'Wiltime Bigtime' segment will definitely be something to watch because a bright future awaits the lucky contestant who makes it to the 'Spin-a-Wil' jackpot round wherein a whopping P2 M grand prize can be won!

"On top of the huge prizes at stake, Willing Willie's special episode on January 27 will surely be the talk of the town for days to come because of the star-studded lineup of guests who will share in the fun and excitement of Wil's 50th birthday. No less than Aga Mulach, John Estrada, Randy Santiago, Richard Gomez and Side A will be gracing the show to make Wil's birthday more memorable. There will also be special performances from JR and Kris Lawrence.

"Don't miss out on a one-of-a-kind birthday celebration of Willie Revillame this Thursday, January 27. Willing Willie airs at 6:30 pm from Monday to Friday and 5:00 pm every Saturday, only on TV5."

In fairness, maraming napapaligaya ang Willing Willie, masaya ang programa at maraming nanonood. Karamihan ng nanonood kay Willie ay hindi computer literate so we cannot expect for them to comment. But you can see the number of sponsors in his program ibig sabihin business establishments are confident that advertising in Willie's program is profitable. I heard that some are being turned down already.
