Bea Alonzo will show her skills in action as she topbills ABS-CBN's upcoming TV series, Guns and Roses. She will be paired with Robin Padilla and Diether Ocampo in this TV show directed by Trina Dayrit and Rechie del Carmen.

The Kapamilya actress takes on the character of Rain Santana, a woman disenchanted with love after the sudden tragic death of her fiancé, played by Jake Cuenca.

In an interview with Showbiz News Ngayon, Robin Padilla attested to Bea's ability to take on a tough girl role. He said, "Opo. Sa usaping action e, dapat. Kasi nakikita namin lahat na may kakayahan si Bea na mag-action. Ang katotohanan ay siya ay nagte-training na mag-boxing at inihahanda na rin namin ang training niya sa baril."

Bea confirmed that she underwent rigorous boxing and gun handling classes to aid her in portraying Rain's character.

Since this is their first time to work together, Bea and Robin cannot hide their excitement for this project. Bea shows no apprehensions for her intimate scenes with Robin.

"Oo, na-excite ako. Meron, marami. Kailangan nilang abangan ang mga romantic scenes ng characters namin kasi parang sa gulo ng mundo nila, parang every time na may moments na ganun tumatahimik lahat, bumabagal lahat, nagiging makulay lahat," said the Kapamilya actress.

Diether, who plays the rival of Robin's character in this story, admitted: "It's my first time to do a real hard action, so talagang medyo binusisi namin ito dahil matagal-tagal din naming pinaghandaan. So defenitely nakaka-excite na panoorin itong Guns and Roses."

Ejay Falcon is cast as Robin's brother in the series while his love interest will be Empress.
