After announcing that Kris Aquino would no longer be returning to the Sunday showbiz talk show The Buzz, it was confirmed by Boy Abunda himself that he would be working with his good friend in a new morning show.

ABS-CBN beefs up its Bigtime Trio with the launch of its new morning talk show that brings together the country's King and Queen of Talk Shows in an explosive gabfest that will inform and entertain viewers daily.

Starting Monday, July 2, Boy Abunda and Kris Aquino team up in Boy and Kris to tackle a mix of topics that empower the viewers. Subjects to be discussed include personal relationships, personal finance, health concerns, and other matters.

According to ABS-CBN business unit head Louie Andrada, the explosive combination of Boy and Kris makes the show a legitimate daytime talk show. "Boy is the information source and the objective in-your-face analyst who will approach any topic or issue squarely, whereas Kris is the opinionated other who will give an emotional tug to any issue or concern. Together, they are the yin and yang of morning talk to serve as devil's advocate to one another and to provide a healthy balance of discussion items," says Mr. Andrada.

With their expertise for spontaneous and enthusiastic chat sessions, the power duo will surely liven up any topic.

"The show marks the comeback of the Boy-Kris tandem. Only this time, they will not be engaging in intrigues and gossip, but provide meaningful information to the viewers so they will be empowered," says the business unit head.

Boy and Kris premieres July 2, from 10:30 to 11:30 am, before Pilipinas Game K N B? and Wowowee.
