ABS-CBN's Maria La Del Barrio aired its pilot episode yesterday, August 15, replacing Mula Sa Puso. In the same timeslot, GMA-7 has Futbolilits which replaced the program Magic Palayok, while TV5 has its news program Aksyon.
Based on data from Kantar Media among national households, the teleserye starring Enchong Dee and Erich Gonzales led in its timeslot by beating its rival show on GMA-7, Futbolilits, which is topbilled by Raymart Santiago, Jennylyn Mercado, Angelika dela Cruz, and Paolo Contis.
Meanwhile, AGB Nielsen data show that the Kapamilya teleserye was able to enter the Top 10 list of the most watched programs yesterday. Maria La Del Barrio was able to get a rating of 15.7 percent compared to GMA-7's Futbolilits, which got a rating of 14.9 percent.
