PRESS STATEMENT FROM ABS-CBN:

"In the most unexpected circumstances, rain brings people closer together. ABS-CBN proves to be the best companion during rainy days as it launches the newest Station ID 'Sukob Na.'

"Composed by Franco Mortiz and Alexeeb Flores, the same theme song was first used in 2002 and revived last year for the 2010 Ulan SID. This year, with the re-arrangement of Jimmy Antiporda, the song is given a fun and youthful spin with the voice of actress, host, endorser, fashion icon, and now full-fledged recording artist, Anne Curtis.

"'Sukob Na' aims to reflect that Filipinos can brighten their days despite the rainy season by enjoying each other's company, featuring the anchors of Umagang Kay Ganda; hosts of Showtime and Happy Yippee Yehey, the cast of Banana Split, Maria la del Barrio; My Binondo Girl, child wonder Xyriel Manabat from 100 Days to Heaven, top dramatic actress Bea Alonzo from Guns and Roses; Queen of all media Kris Aquino and Megastar Sharon Cuneta.

"The 2011 Ulan SID was created by ABS-CBN Creative Communications Management headed by Robert Labayen and Johnny de los Santos.

"The SID Creative and Production team members are Edsel Misenas, Kathrina Sanchez, Dang Baldonado, Ian Faustino, and Adrian Lim.

"It is directed by Richard Ang and Peewee Gonzales. Other members are Patricia Daza, Head for Artist Relations; Jimmy Porca, Project Coordinator; Jun Aves, Cinematographer; Oliver Paler, Post-Production Head; Con Ignacio, Editor; Sam Esquillon, Production Designer; Aileen Gooco, Photographer; at Marvin Bragas, Location Manager."
