When Kris Aquino and Diether Ocampo worked with each other for the 2010 Metro Manila Film Fest entry Dalaw, it cemented their friendship and gave rise to rumors linking the two stars.


Last July, Kris Aquino said in an interview that she and Diether Ocampo are "super good friends" but she wouldn't want to him to be her boyfriend.


She points out: ""Kasi sa hitsura ni Diet, dapat pini-friend mo na lang siya, hindi boyfriend. Kasi sa sobrang guwapo, marami kang makakaagaw, huwag na lang!"

However, in the Kris TV episode aired earlier today, September 22, Kris seems to be more open to the possibility of having Diether as her boyfriend.


The lead stars of Guns and Roses, namely Robin Padilla, Diether Ocampo and Bea Alonzo, were the featured guests in this particular episode.


Throughout the show, Kris and Diether were teasing each other. The TV host-actress chided Diet by saying, "Ang gusto ko lang pag nag-text, hindi after 36 hours ang sagot."  



 
PERMISSION FROM BIMBY. Halfway through the program, Diether performed "Wherever You Will Go," with Kris by his side. After the song, Kris directly asked the actor, "Kanta lang ba yan o totoo 'yan?" 


Diether didn't answer directly but he went on to say, "Nag [shades] ako kanina kasi hindi ko alam kung ang mga ilaw lang ang nakakasilaw o ang kagandahan mo.


"Minsan lang ako pumunta dito...diretso walang tulog." 


Kris agreed and added, "Alam ko nga at pag wala kang tulog, ang sungit mo."


Diet quipped, "Pag ikaw ang kaharap, paano naman ako magiging masungit niyan?" 


Kris asked him again: "Tinanong ko nga, kanta lang ba 'yan o totoo 'yan?" 


Diet explained, "Alam mo naman hindi ko ma-express ang sarili ko pagdating sa litanya, e, pero pagdating sa kantahan, dun ko nae-express nang maliwanag ang sarili ko." 


At this point, Kris narrated an anecdote about Bimby, her son with James Yap.

 
Kris recalled, "Tinatanong ko si Bimby, pinapanood ka namin, 'Bimby, can Tito Diet become my boyfriend?'


"Sabi niya sa akin, 'But why?'


"Sabi ko, 'Why not?'


"[Bimby said], 'But I love you mama. You can like him but don't love him.'"


Kris turned to Diether and told him, "At least may permiso ka na, na I can like you."


Diet said with a smile, "Dun pa lang parang sobra sobra na yun."


Kris reiterated, "Nandun na tayo sa level na like. Parang 16 [years old]."
