Gerald Anderson's Budoy beats Amaya, based on Kantar Media data nationwide

"The newly started Primetime Bida teleserye, Budoy is not only a nationwide hit among television households, it also became the talk of the town worldwide. 

"Tweets about Budoy's pilot episode last Monday (October 10) put the biggest family drama series of ABS-CBN on the worldwide trending topics of the popular microblogging site, Twitter. "Ako Budoy" tweets trended worldwide while drama prince Gerald Anderson trended on Twitter Philippines.

"Budoy also ruled the national TV ratings in its first three nights of airing. Based on the latest data of Kantar Media/TNS, the pilot episode registered a 27.2% TV ratings nationwide beating GMA-7's Amaya which only got 20.3%.  On Tuesday (October 11) it reigned with 26.4% versus rival's 20.1% and further sustained nationwide dominance on Wednesday (October 12) with 26.7% national TV ratings versus 21.2% of the competition.

"Kapamilya viewers will surely get charmed even more with the character of Budoy as the story progresses with more breathtaking revelations.

"Aside from Anderson, Budoy brings together a powerhouse cast composed of promising young stars Jessy Mendiola and Enrique Gil; legendary luminaries of Philippine movie industry including Dante Rivero, Gloria Sevilla and Barbara Perez; and seasoned actors namely Tirso Cruz III, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Mylene Dizon, Christian Vazquez, and Janice de Belen who makes a comeback in the Kapamilya network.

    wahahahah,,,,,,lokohin nyo sarili nyo...tinalo ang amaya? in ur dreams...extended po ang amaya till january 2012...and di ba tinalo rin ng guns and roses ang amaya sa kantar? eh kaya ba tinigok na ang guns and roses kasi nanalo na sila sa kantar? yun ba ang logic ng abs cbn? kapag panalo tatanggalin na? eh di ibig sabihin hanggang 3 mos na lang din itong budoy?heheehh
