On November 25, funny man Joey de Leon made a historic special appearance on Kris TV, Kris Aquino's morning talk show on ABS-CBN.

Joey, who is part of the popular comedic trio of Tito, Vic and Joey, is one of the main hosts of popular noontime show Eat Bulaga! on rival network, GMA-7.

Talk show host Kris Aquino excitedly introduced Joey saying, "Idol ko siya, Joey de Leon!" Loud cheers and applause greeted the popular comedian-host.

Joey then gave the TV host-actress a copy of the coffee table book, Ang Unang Tatlong Dekada, which documents the first three decades of Eat Bulaga!

PNOY THANKS JOEY. In return, Kris played a recorded video message from her brother, President Noynoy Aquino, thanking Joey for his efforts to improve education in the country.

AGAPP FOUNDATION. Unknown to the public, the multi-talented comedian and his family actively took part in the community project  AGAPP Foundation [Aklat Gabay Aruga Tungo sa Pag-Angat at Pag-Asa] led by presidential sister Pinky Abellada and other Aquino siblings.

Joey helped build classrooms under the foundation's "Silid Pangarap" program that largely benefited the Grace Park Caloocan School in Caloocan City.

Joey told Kris: "Si Ate Pinky mo, Magkapitbahay kami niyan.

Meron daw boxes na galing sa States, kompleto—imported na Play-Doh [modeling clay for children], may mga coloring books, crayons and toys for each of the children."

PREVIOUS APPEARANCE. Joey and Kris then reminisced about the last appearance of Joey in an ABS-CBN show way back in 2003.
