GMA Marketing and Productions, Inc. (GMPI), the sales and marketing arm of GMA Network, Inc. (GMA), in cooperation with its advertisers, continues its annual tradition of producing relevant and heartwarming short films via the GMA Christmas Short Film Festival.

The short films, which currently air during commercial breaks over GMA and GMA News TV, feature some of the biggest Kapuso celebrities namely Dingdong Dantes, Dennis Trillo, Rufa Mae Quinto, Jennylyn Mercado, Sid Lucero, Isabel Oli, Perla Bautista, Isay Alvarez, Dominic Roco, Sean Samonte, and Jillian Ward.

This yearly campaign aims to touch and inspire Kapuso viewers by presenting them with original and heartfelt stories reminiscent of the holiday spirit.

Since it was launched in 2006, this filmfest continues to attract not only viewers but also advertisers, who work hand and hand with GMA Marketing and Productions, Inc.  in coming up with the short films.

The films are written and directed by seasoned directors, Louie Ignacio, Paul Soriano, Topel Lee, Mikko Avelino, Raul Jorolan, Treb Monteras III, and Dragon Pineda.

A special screening directed by top-notch videographer Jason Magbanua will air on GMA Sunday Night Box Office (SNBO) on December 18, Sunday at 9:45 PM and on GMA News TV on December 22, Thursday at 7 PM. This TV special includes extended director's cut and exclusive behind the scenes footage from each film.
