David Archuleta says Jasmine Curtis-Smith and Eula Caballero "are both beautiful inside and out"

David Archuleta will star as Josh Bradley in the mini-series Nandito Ako. It will air on TV5 starting February 20, weekdays, after Wil Time Bigtime .

Isang kakaibang karanasan para kay David Archuleta ang gumawa ng mini-serye para sa TV5, ang Nandito Ako.

Walang anumang alam sa pag-arte si David.

Una na rin siyang nakilala sa pag-awit nang sumali siya sa talent search show na American Idol Season 7, at pumangalawa sa kampeon na si David Cook.

Nakapanayam ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at ilang entertainment press si David noong Sabado, Pebrero 4, sa press launch ng Nandito Ako sa Meralco Fitness Center Multi-Purpose Hall, Meralco Compound, Pasig City.

Dito'y inihambing niya ang pag-awit at pag-arte base sa kanyang karanasan.

"Well, singing is something that's just... it's very constant," nakangiting sagot ng 21-year-old singer.

"You consistently give a song emotion.

"You kind of take it from the audience but most of the time, you give your emotion out to the people [and] you don't feel what they give in return.

"But in acting, it's pretty much interaction.

"You give your emotion and they give you their feelings like if they are sad or excited, looking in to their eyes and things like that.

"How you act is very much influenced by the other actors, that's what very interesting in it."

WORKING WITH FILIPINOS. Sa Amerika lumaki si David. Ipinanganak siya sa Miami, Florida, at kalaunan ay lumipat sila sa Utah.

Ilang bansa na rin ang napuntahan niya sa tuwing nagpo-promote siya ng kanyang album, at isa ang Pilipinas sa mga regular na kasama sa itinerary ng kanyang mga byahe.

Kaya naman, hindi na dayuhan si David sa pakikipag-trabaho sa mga Pinoy. Ngunit, ibang klase ng trabaho ang naranasan niya sa pag-arte.

Isa na sa mga pagsubok na pinagdaanan niya'y ang pagsasalita ng Filipino.
