After almost five years of marriage, Rita Avila and husband Erick Reyes, have been finally blessed with a baby boy.
Rita gave birth to Elia Jesu last Friday, November 10, at 3:03 p.m. The gray-eyed newborn reportedly weighed 5.5 lbs.
This is the first child for the actress and Erick, co-director of the ABS-CBN 2 drama series Maging Sino Ka Man.
Rita had a miscarriage last year, April 2005, that greatly depressed the That’s Entertainment graduate and former Seiko star. This led her to adopt two baby dolls-Popoy and Nimay-that she and her husband treated as their own children.
