Lolit Solis ready to forgive Rosanna Roces

“Kung continuous 'yung pagiging mabait niya, sino naman ako para hindi siya patawarin?” said Startalk host Lolit Solis about her issue with her former talent, actress Rosanna Roces.
Lolit was cornered by her co-hosts Butch Francisco and Lorna Tolentino last November 18 for her reaction to Rosanna’s statements in an interview with the GMA-7 showbiz talk show a week before, November 11, that she wanted to patch things up with her former manager.
“Oo, kung sincere [si Rosanna],” Lolit said. “Kasi, di ba, nakita ko nga gaya nung in-interview mo [Butch] siya [for Startalk’s 11th anniversary special last November 11], mukhang mabait siya. Nung in-interview siya ni Ricky Lo para sa [GMA-7 entertainment news magazine show] Showbiz Stripped, mabait siya.”
However, Lolit said that while she can easily forget her much-publicized row with Rosanna, she cannot forgive her former ward for her actions towards Lorna and her husband, Rudy Fernandez. (Rosanna and Rudy used to be co-stars in the GMA-7 sitcom Daboy & Da Girl.)
Although she did not reveal what transpired between Lorna and Rosanna, Lolit firmly said, “Oo, sincere siya pero ano lang… Ang isang bagay lang na masasabi ko—ngayon ko pa lang sasabihin—ako pwede ko siyang patawarin. Pero hindi ko mapapatawad yung ginawa niya kay Lorna Tolentino.”
Meanwhile, despite her softening up to Rosanna, Lolit still stood as a witness for the skin clinic Forever Flawless—owned by Dr. Vicki Belo— in the recent hearing of its breach of contract case against Osang (Rosanna's nickname).
“Kasi kaya naman ako pumayag na maging witness, kasi ang pinalalabas ng abogado ni Rosanna, kailangan pang magdagdag ng Forever Flawless sa nakuha niyang damage. So, 1.5 [million pesos], pinalalabas niya na kailangang dagdagan pa yun, which I think is unfair.”
Rosanna, however, was not present in the said hearing.
