More than three years ago, isang all-boy dancing and singing group of very young stars was launched sa ABS-CBN musical variety show na ASAP. Called Anim-E, it has nothing to do with the Japanese manga, but everything to do with the number of its members—six, anim, e.

They were Emman Abeleda, John Wayne Sace, Sergio Garcia, Rayver Cruz, Mico Aytona, and Mhyco Aquino. At the time, with the exception of Mhyco, all were just 13 years old.

Paired with Shaina Magdayao, ang kanilang love team ay one of the promising love teams ng ABS-CBN ngayon. Ang dalawa ay may current show, Rounin, and a launching movie, Happy Hearts.

But a bad press hounded the teenager, na minsang tumatak sa audience with his powerful performance sa Star Cinema film, Dekada ‘70, starring Vilma Santos at Christopher de Leon.

For the time being, gustong ipagpatuloy ni Sergio ang kanyang college studies, having recently graduated from high school sa St. Mark Parañaque. Ganoon din daw si Mycho, na balak kumuha ng Fine Arts sa University of the Philippines dahil ito ang hilig niya.

Asked if they are willing to do more mature roles, para maiba naman kay Rayver na matinee idol ang tinatahak ng career, pag-iisipan pa raw ni Sergio next year when he turns 18. Si Mhyco naman ay ready na raw if the right offer comes along.
