This seems to be the theme of Kris Aquino's much-anticipated return to ABS-CBN's Kapamilya Deal or No Deal after taking a two-month sabbatical to give birth to her son with cager-husband James Yap—James Aquino Yap, or more known to the public as Baby James.
And what better way to welcome the controversial former presidential daughter but to mix her up with two equally controversial personalities of Philippine entertainment—Ruffa Gutierrez and mother Annabelle Rama.
The mother-and-daughter tandem was recently, and still, hogging the headlines brought about by Ruffa's highly publicized separation with Turkish millionaire husband, Yilmaz Bektas.
"Salamat sa kanila [Ruffa and Annabelle] at natahimik ako. Mas maingay ang buhay nila ngayon kesa sa akin!" yelps Kris during an interview with TV Patrol World, the primetime newscast of ABS-CBN.
Kris, of course, as everyone knows, has always been a favorite source of big issues and intrigues. The last one was only a few months back when her husband was rumored to have been carrying an affair with former Belo Medical Clinic receptionist Hope Centeno.
Ruffa and Annabelle sat in as guests and contestants in the comeback episode of Deal Or No Deal. At one point, the two were even caught by the cameras arguing during the actual game.
Despite giving birth, Kris, who was wearing a slick red gown, looked fabulous and in top form.
"Oatmeal na lang ang kinakain ko para magkasya ang mga gown ko!" laughs a radiant Kris.
