Hollywood star Josh Hartnett is reportedly coming to the Philippines to shoot a movie, I Come With The Rain. The film's location will be in Mt. Diwalwal, Davao. Hartnett will co-star with Korean superstar Byung-hun Lee.

Once you are protected by the "big ones" in Mt. Diwalwal, no one can touch you. Mt. Diwalwal is a mining area, it looks like a town with all the small houses built on, along the tunnels.

THough the "big miners" have their private armies, they all just there for business.

Pati dito sa South Africa, kahit Negrong taga bantay ng kotse kilala ang Pinas sa namamahay at namumugad na terorista. Kinorek ko na hindi lahat ng ating bansa ay may terorista sa Mindanao lang. Hangga ngayon nandiyan pa rin ba ang Abu Sayaff sa Mindanao?

I've been to Davao with colleagues and friends. It's one of the best trips we had. We enjoyed the sights and the food to the max. This is an opportunity to spread the word that the Philippines is not as dangerous as reported and hopefully, attract more foreign tourists.

Haller ang layo kaya ng Mt. Diwalwal sa Davao City. It's 3 hours away from the main city. It's part of Monkayo, Compostela Valley, geographically speaking. Anyways, it's great for more exposure.

I think what lily meant sa colourful history is that the place brought both ups and lows to people in the province. I know few people na talagang yumaman sa Mt Diwalwal, kaso it also meant distruction sa area and death to most people...So sometimes, the colour is gold but most of the times black and gray

Mt Diwalwal has a colorful history? Bwahahahaha... I've been there many times in my young life. The dangers and risks people face there are still unsolved and according to the current world banks record. Mt. Diwalwal, is one of dirtiest places in the world.

Colorful history? I should know. My family and relatives were one of the aerly settlers of this mountaneous place during it's heydays. Some of them are still there hoping against hope that poluution and mercury contamination will be decreased. It's a problem since long time but officials turned deaf ear.

Mt. Diwalwal has no colorful history. Only tragic history. Read the past news about this place.

but sadly ang dami din namatay non when some of the tunnels collapsed due to bomb mining. so tragic!!

Josh Hartnett is H.O.T. and a good actor, too. His coming to 'Pinas to shoot is a good thing and P300/day for extras is, i think, ok.

peaceful talaga ang lugar na yan kasi taga doon po banda ang lola ko every year ako pmupunta doon minsan kasama ko mga friends ko na mga chinese so far wala pa naman na kidnap don. gusto nga ng asawa ko doon kasi malamig lalo na ung mt. diwalwal compostela valley.pero di pa ako nakrating s alugar na yan kasi minahan ng ginto kasi yan eh.
