The public is seeing Turkish businessman Yilmaz Bektas in a new light, not just as an appendage to his beauty queen-actress wife Ruffa Gutierrez.

During his seven-day visit in Manila, an opportunity to endorse a product knocked Yilmaz's way.

Ruffa told PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) that a clothing company approached Yilmaz to endorse its line of formal wear, because he is usually seen wearing a suit. But the father of Ruffa's daughters refused to tell what brand.

In an exclusive interview with PEP and YES! magazine last night, August 16, at the Shangri-la Makati—Yilmaz opted to wear a casual sleeved top and jeans just to prove his point that he doesn't want to be an "ambassador of suits," explained Ruffa.

In our conversation, we asked Yilmaz if he has given some thought to possibly joining show business. Yilmaz shared his opinion about this:

"It is impossible to happen because I am a businessman. I am so very happy to be a businessman. And showbiz, like others, I just like to watch in my TV."

Yilmaz also confessed, "I can't act."
