Nasa Court of Appeals na raw ang annulment case nina Diether Ocampo at Kristine Hermosa pagkatapos nitong maaprubahan sa Lower Court. Ang Solicitor General ang nagsampa sa Court of Appeals as regular standard procedure. Kung hindi madedesisyunan ng Court of Appeals, saka ito itaaas sa Supreme Court for the final decision.
Matatandaang nagpakasal sina Diether at Kristine sa isang civil rite sa Nueva Ecija noong September 12, 2004, pero nag-file ng annulment ang aktres ng annulment noong June 21, 2005.
Hindi raw ito deterrence kay Diet dahil kahit ano ang mangyaring decision sa annulment case nila ni Kristine, balak niya pa ring pakasalan ng pangalawang beses ang kanyang asawa.
"Sa ngayon, nililigawan ko ulit siya. Ito ang gusto niya," sabi ni Diet sa special presscon na ibinigay sa kanya ng Star Magic early this week in celebration of his 10 year in show business.
Sa simula pa lang ng presscon, ang estado na agad nila ni Kirstine ang tinanong ng mga invited press kung kaya't natatawang sabi ni Diet na "presscon ko po ito, hindi ni Kristine."
Later on, pumayag na ring magkuwento si Diet.
"Marami pong pangyayari nitong nakaraang araw. We're better today kesa dati. It shows naman sa akin ngayon, di ba?" said Diet na tunay na ngang mas maaliwas ang mukha ngayon lalo na sa kanyang short hair.
May nagtanong kay Diet kung narinig na niya ang issue na may bagong lalaki sa buhay ni Kristine, a Middle Eastern guy by the name of Rashid.
"It's Rajiv actually," pagku-correct ni Diet. "I know him, he's a nice guy. Ipinakilala na siya sa akin ni Tin."
Hindi alam ni Diet ang issue na magkasama raw sina Kristine at Rajiv recently sa Hong Kong.
"Ah talaga?" tanong niya. "I know she was there with her family. Baka naman coincidence lang."
Diet said he never bothered to ask Kristine.
"Sige, I will ask her," sabi na lang niya.
Impressed ang press sa pagiging cool at secure ni Diet sa balita.
"Sa ganitong edad ko ba naman, di pa ba ako dapat maging understanding?" sabi ng 31-year-old actor.
